Falmouth has a long and proud history as a first port of call for deepwater sailing ships. Over 80 groups from across the UK, Europe and further afield converge on Falmouth, bringing a wondefully diverse range of shanties performed on stages throughout the town. The festival raises funds for the RNLI.
